Homosexuality could be both biological and freewill or either. Depends on the person.

Speaking from experience - I was born gay.

I was raised in a very Catholic home, went to the Catholic school, was the altar boy, the whole nine yards. But, even then, I knew what my feelings were.

I tried to change myself in everyway, tried to "like girls" because that's "what is right". Didn't work. The only thing I made myself was miserable.

I finally realized that I was NOT wrong. I was made the way I was made, and that is how it is.

For those throwing around and regurgitating bible verses (like Lev), may be you should read the whole thing. If you did, you would be protesting Red Lobster (eating shellfish is an "abomination", and condemning textile factories (wearing blended fabrics is also an "abomination"). It seems that some people CHOOSE to think homosexuality is a sin because they are not gay, or at least don't want others know that they are (ie - Haggart). But, since they like their seafood and their confy shirts, then that's OK. That's not a sin, even though "it says it in the bible".

Another thing - homosexuality is a choice??? As mentioned before, all the prosicution, all the hardships, etc - do you really think anybody would choose that?

Also, have you ever heard (those with sensitve eyes, close them) of "boob" men, "leg" men, "butt" girls, etc. People who are attracted to a certain body part. Or people who are attracted to blondes, but not bruenettes. Asians, but not blacks. Everyone has a like. They didn't choose it, it's just the way we are made. Some people like short women with blonde hair and small breasts. Others, do not. Not a choice, just the way it is.

Another idea - could homosexuality be a way of (insert your diety here) 's way of controlling the population? The world is already taxed by our ways of life. Add more people, and you have more resources that are being used.

No animals in nature gay. Again, look stuff up before you recycle what some evil-angilist or someone similar spouted off. There have been numerous documentations of it happening. One of the most popular are the two male penguins at the Central Park Zoo. Both completey devoted to each other. They took care of an orphaned egg, and are raising the baby Tango. There was even a book about it - of course, "some people" are trying to get that book pulled. Don't want to show truth or anything.

Most people will tell you it's a personal choice because they think that homosexuality is based entirely on lust and anyone who "practices" the "gay lifestyle" is immoral and promiscuous.

I will tell you from personal experience, that it is biological (or psychological, either way it's still "built in" and not changeable). I have never had a sexual interest in the opposite sex and I know many people who would say the same thing.

You're right that nobody has found the actual cause of it, but that doesn't mean that there isn't one.

If real homosexual behavior were an act of free will, then I should be able to engage in a homosexual act, even though I'm straight and married, right?

But, you know, I really don't think I could. So I have to guess that it is involuntary (although I don't know if that means it's biological.)

Homosexuality is a Psychological tie. It is biologically unnatural. Anyway, it is a sick state of mind. It is a last resort of a Defeated Person, who cannot do a normal sex, because nobody wants to go with him in Intercourse, for his ways are ugly/unattractive/in sensuous for anyone to fall with him in a normal Intercourse. So, he finds another Defeated Person of the same type for homosexuality.
In Sound Families, this thing is induced as training, which is a conspiracy against these people to destroy them for vanity of those who were jealous/envious to them for some thing/matter/social status.
Gentlemen, it is a disease. Run for a good Treatment, immediately. Don't delay. Your Time is being wasted. You may leave a good Offspring of yours in this world, who might be a successful person unlike you. He may be of some utility to others, in anyway.

Nobody is really sure. There are only theories as of the moment. Maybe its a mixture of both, combined with the type of environment that one is raised in. But that can't really be proven either.....considering that homosexuals come from all cultures and communities.

i think its a bit of both, they've conducted studies and some homosexuals had more female hormones than male, hence them being attracted to males, but others did not have this.. Its a crazy world, and for us to only have the opposite sex to supposedly choose from, its a wonder people are gay, lesbian and bisexual. All that matters is that your happy in my opinion!

As for women, unless there is an infection, I would not know.

Don't give me any DNA or twin study crap, because DNA does not have a traumatic childhood, and twins do share their childhood.
