Silver hides the dirt well. I hardly ever wash my van and it always looks good!

Black will look like crap 10 minutes after a wax job.
Silver hides dirt pretty well.
Yellow is much more visible to other drivers and it has been suggested that yellow cars are not involved in accidents as frequently. The insurance industry has not endorsed this theory, however.
My personal favorites are yellow or red. But that's just me.

With paint color the rule of thumb is the lighter the color the less you show.
black will show up every blemish including slight ripples in panels , misalignment of panels, any small bents or blemishes
and believe me you don't realize how bad your panels are until you paint them black, ask any hot rodders who worship their cars, black is a no go unless your panels are perfect, silver grey would be a good color as you can hide a multitude of sins with it.
Also the black is murder in the hot summer sun, as is any dark color

black is definitely worse in the sujmmer, silver is easier to maintain but black looks better (more luxurious), especially after a wash.

Black does show dirt more and it also attracts heat so you'll have more damage to the interior of your car in the long run.
