Why do you want to recognize aids patients ? If it is the fear of contacting from them it is not possible unless you have intercourse with them. If you are asking for the same reason then I am afraid unless they tell you it is not possible to know untill the disease has affected the person to such an extent that the loss of weight and thin frame of body will make it evident. One crude way is there to find out just touch and feel the persons glands behind the ears and if you find them swollen then you can suspect it.

they normally have a large sticker on their foreheads saying "I'M AN AIDS PATIENT" Silly can't tell by just looking at someone, that has got to be the silliest question ever asked. it's ignorant and narrow minded. I suggest you read more, gather more info. and you'll realise what i'm saying and more. You'll probably slap urself silly at the back of your neck after. now go out there and gain knowledge, it'll do you a world of good. trust me!

Without a blood test, there is no reliable way to "recognize" AIDS patients or HIV positive individuals.

they're the ones that look just like you and me. Why do you need to be able to identify them by sight? Do you know how it's transmitted? How about doing a little reading on the subject instead of asking dumb@$$ questions like this.

that has to be one of the stupidest questions that i have ever heard ... why you just ask "How do you recognize coke from Pepsi if they are both in clear, unlabeled glasses ... point is, YOU CAN'T !!!! so deal and treat everyone you encounter the same ... with respect and dignity

You don't. They're just people who aren't very well. AIDS doesn't kill people directly -- it just leaves them very susceptible to other illnesses which their bodies can't fight in the same way as other people's bodies can.
