its obviouse if people say no , they have never been to another continent!!! yes you do and your travel agent or flighht organiser can deal with it for you

I can't believe that people would actually put up answers saying no you don't when the absolute total and certain answer is YES. You will not even be allowed onto an aeroplane at your point of departure without a valid entry visa to Australia. Don't ask important questions of this nature on foolish sites such as this. Check with your travel agent and get a visa or you will be wasting your money on an unusable airline ticket.

Yes you do.I have been many times and am going in 3 weeks.If you have not yet booked your holiday whoever you book with will do it for you.Some charge £10-£15 some do it free.You can also do it online (type Australia Visa) and it is done electronically there and then,you will need a credit card and your passport to give them your details.You will also need the passports of anyone else travelling.Once you have got one it lasts 12 months.

yes, but you just fill it out as you are flying there, the cabin crew will hand you it. It entitles you to three months stay. You aren't allowed to work or study. If you want to work you must apply for a working holiday visa or a long term working visa, which take about three weeks to arrive. Holiday visas are standard stuff though and you don't need to worry about it. Just fill it out on the plane.

yes you do need a holiday visa. You will apply for it at the embassy and you will have to pay for it. Usually they give a 3 month period for a holiday.

Of course you do! They're really fussy over there, they're hardly going to let people just wander around without a visa. All the peopl saying no are fools. Go to any travel agent with your passport and and they can just scan it on, it cost me £15 last time I went.

Hi Steve, you certainly need a travel visa however you can do it instantly over the internet and it is granted within a day or two.
It will begin when you enter and covers you for three months.

Yes you do and they are very cheap.
My wife has just come back from seeing her sister and she was there for two weeks and needed one.
Hers was an electronic one and was sorted out by British Airways before she travelled. Check with your travel agent

yes but they vary depending on the length of stay and purpose of visit. for couple of weeks you'll do it in the airport, for up to six moths you apply online, doesnt take very long but if its longer or you're planning to work you need to ask permission and get a proper twelve month visa. i went for 3 months and mine cost about £15 i think.

YES... I am off there in three weeks time....you need a visitors visa and it will cost about £15 we got ours erlectronically from the tour operator we are travelling with.
