No grapes...or raisins. No garlic or onions. I don't give them citrus either. The acid content isn't going to be the best on their mouths and stomach.
My dogs LOVE banana, apple, carrots and potatoes. I keep the amount small, but I always share those with them.

Veggies & grain are put in dog food all the time. Don't see why you can't give it to them. My dog loves a bit of apple and my parents dogs eat the pears as they fall off the tree's. Been doing it for years and it hasn't hurt them yet. Keep in mind, if they havne't been eating that, well, any change in diet affects them and too much could constipate them or the oposite.
No sugar though, if cooked, and I would peel them first as it might be a little hard on their stomachs. .

Yes on vegetables my aunts vet recommends it, that is all her dog eats. On fruits I don't see why not , just like for humans in proportion. I have 3 labs and the gold lab will eat anything I mean anything you name it. But labs are scavengers. And per personality of the dog. Majority of dog food main ingredient is corn meal.

Yes, they can eat them. Whether they like them or not is a different question. Some of my dogs like some fruit, some like other fruit. Don't feed grapes or raisins though as they are not good for dogs.

Most dogs love citrus, you need to tack the peel and the "skin" off, but it helps boost there immune system. Rice and poataoes are great, but cook them up and serve them warn with some dry dog food. I can't get my dog to eat carrots and other stuff, but he love the above foods.

My vet recommended it to help my dog lose weight.. I cut back on half of his normal food and the other half of frozen veggies ( carrots, brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower). He also loves fresh broccoli, apples (no core or seeds ever) and bananas. He has actually lost alot of weight almost the 20lbs he needed to..

Yes, dogs are usually meat eaters, but from time to time (it depends on the type) they tend to eat fruits and vegetables... I used to have a puppy nicknamed "Puppy." You had to be careful around her because she tended to tear up the garbage bags and try to eat rotten fruits, veggies. (No, we fed her well). I think she liked to eat apples more than she liked her dog food.

some people like to feed their four legged children that stuff but I am a VERY STRONG BELEIVER in no people food for dogs, they have their food and we have ours, but if you do believe in doing it ask the vet first unless like one person yesterday who had a dog that loved oranges, at least it's a health conscious dog and there are a LOT of people food that is a lot worse for them so at least the dog has a strangely healthy liking for people food.
