A wealthy man is on his death bed. He has two sons but does not want to divide the estate, ultimately leaving everything to only one son. Since he cannot choose between the two he decides to let them have a race. They are to ride per horseback from the beginning of the estate to the end of the estate and the horse that comes first will subsequently inherit the entire estate. The two sons start the race and ride like the wind. Half way a wise man stops them and whispers something in their ears. The two men get back on the horses and ride as slowly as they possibly can. What did the wise man whisper in their ears?
