The law is true and still esists...
BUT just you try and enforce it and you've got no chance. Who takes notice of the law these days?

The old law still stands but has been amended slightly to allow hotel owners the choice of whether any dog is permitted to stay there. Same applies to beaches. If dogs are not permitted on the beach it applies to all dogs so your King Charles spaniel gets not preferential treatment.

probably, actually. The laws of today stating 'no dogs' on beaches and some public places will also apply to your dog but the truth is some hoteliers might not mind a small well - trained and behaved dog as opposed to a large, bouncy one.

I have just had a word with my Cavalier, Billy, and he says that he knows he is special, but he didn't realise that he was THAT special.
My other dog, a mongrel called Pippa, says "Him, Special? He's no more special than I am!"

this is a myth. The laws apply to CKCS just the same as other dogs I'm afraid.

you are quite correct . the breed has a royal warrant. this means that they have the same rights of entry as the monarch. Basically this means that the only place that they cannot enter by right is the House of commons

They are pure dead snobby. There's one down our street and if you try and sniff his bum he gats all 'I'm royalty get off'. Can't stand 'em meself. However on a more serious note, any local legislation overrides the edict as KC1 lost his head.

I doubt it very much.
But it's sure to depend on the rules surrounding the individual hotel.
