Well I know bunny rabbits do. Clancy had a bad day not long ago, was real depressed. So I let him run around more and he seems much happier. I mean I would let him run around before, but now I let him out more often.

The very hottest days of the year have been known since antiquity as 'dog days'. It has something to do with the coincidence between very hot weather and the rising in the sky at night of the dog-star.
So what do you mean by 'dog days'?

yeah my dog has a dog day, his dog day consists of wake up check bowl for food, have a piss outside, come back in lay in several different places round the house, eat, have a stretch and sleep again lol

I think most animals have days like that, get a bit worn out or sad. I think the best thing is just give them a bit of peace for the day.
