There are so many dandruff shampoos now a days, but in my opinion Selson Blue and Head and Shoulders are the best. Try to use water that isn't so hot and this may sound gross, but don't wash your hair everyday. Take a shower one day and wash it and the next day take a shower, just don't wash your hair, this will allow the natural oils in your head to moisturize your scalp and lessen flakes.

if ur scalp tends to be dry and scaly, oil it really well before u shampoo to get rid of the dandruff. use almond or olive oil and keep it on overnight.
also when u shampoo make a good lather and keep it on for atleast three minutes so that the shampoo is absorbed well.wash off any exssesive shampoo under a fast running jet of water.
u could even try some herbal remedies for dandruff.
PS: H&S is a good brand but u cd try Nisoral too.

Try other brands of dandruff shampoo.
Sometimes anti dandruff shampoos take more than one wash to take effect.
Try not to scratch your head and don't wash your hair too often as it dries your scalp out, where a hat if its hot or cold.
If it persists go and see your doctor who can help.

i will recommend a herbal method. i have used this method prescribed to me by my beautician and it worked on me. You take about a small bowl of yogurt and whisk it. Put 2-3 table spoons of sesame oil in it and whisk it thoroughly again. Then apply this mixture on your scalp. after 2 hours go and shower it off with your shampoo that is head and shoulders. You yourself will feel the effect of the treatment. repeat the process after 2 weeks. not only you dandruff will be lessened but hair will become shiny too. I can bet on it!!:-)

the head and shoulder's brand of shampoo is the best dandruff solution for me! but don't just rely on the shampoo it self. please note that stress makes our skin dry and turns our hair dull. sleep well..
