Being stressed and run down can certainly bring spots on. Don't worry about it too much, most people get them frm time to time and only a very small percentage still get them late in life.

I understand totally how horrible it is and how down you can feel with spots as I am suffering from them too. I've tried almost everything that can be bought over the counter and loads of home remedies such as drinking loads of water, eating lots of fruit, washing face regularily (which helps obviously but can't cure spot problems as it is not dirt that causes them).

Anyway, last week I finally went to my GP. He talked me through the basics of acne (which contray to popular belief is the term used for any severity of spots), and then prescribed me some antibiotics (topical). My course is 3 months. He said to come back if things aren't noticely better and then he'd refer me to a dermatoligist. He also assured me that there are loads of possible treatments so theres no need to worry. I really would advice you to see your GP, it's really helpful. Not only to get a treatment that works, but to also talk to someone about your problem. It's great that people can give advice over the internet but no matter how good the advice is it may not even apply to you individually as every case and person is different.

Good luck, and try to stay calm, he told me that stress can make acne alot worse.

You can actually change your pill if you are worried about spots, to one that gets rid of them. Being stressed and run down definately effects your skin, just make sure you keep on drinking loads of water to help flush out any toxins.

start to drink plenty of water and eat friut and you will notice a difference within a week. If like myself you do not like plain water then use diluting juice.
this has helped me but i do still get the occasional spot when i am due.

If you get a monthly break out it's more likely to be hormonal (I'm 44 and this STILL happens to me!) See your doctor, he may consider changing your pill.
If you are stressing, try to find time to chill out and rest, eat healthily & drink more water, make sure you're getting enough sleep.

Go for a facial. Your face is in zones and if the spots are around your mouth they are linked to your ovaries. Your therapist will explain in greater detail.
