capitalism=An economic system in which the means of production and distribution are privately or corporately owned and development is proportionate to the accumulation and reinvestment of profits gained in a free market.

He said you will always have the poor meaning humanity will find a way to keep the status quo regardless of political systems - this has pretty much happened through history. He was a capitalist in my view because the parable where he paid the workers the same amount although they worked different shifts implies the person with the money can do as they wish. There will never be equality because people put a differernt value on wealth but the lowest standard can be raised as we prosper meaning the poorest still get improvement.

I thing u was too much brainwashed by ur islamic propaganda . There is no capitalist society but a free market oriented society and probably u and ur whole family lives into a sistem like this and u enjoy our "capitalist " money ,right ????
Jesus has nothing to do with politics but I think this is too much for a muslim to understand that true spirituality have nothing in common with politics.

Christianity doesn't concern itself with any political system really. Didn't Jesus say, give unto the emperor that which is emperor's and give unto to God that which is God's?

BTW, we don't live in a capitalistic society right now, it's more of a free-market economy, If it were pure capitalist, we wouldn't have child labor laws and such.

Jesus never taught government. Many would confuse his teaching to the rich man as a socialist teaching but it was a spiritual one. The man who puts his money before God should rid himself of it. Anything that a man puts before God could prevent his salvation. Store your treasures in heaven that where your treasure is you heart will be also. It is a spiritual treasure not an earthly one that he spoke of.

American does not represent Christian, and we do not know which 'God we trust'.

This world is not my home, as taught in Bible, so,why need to justify it? It belongs to satan, read Luke 4.

So, what is the contridiction?

Problem came, where people always associate US of A as christian, and their view as Christian.

Especially the Muslim, viewing all western world as Christian, especially viewing US of A as Christian. No, I am a Christian, and allow me to tell you, they don't represent Christian.

Just like Osama bin Laden does not represent all Muslim, neither do Arabs represent Muslim.

God doesn't believe in capitalism nor did our founding fathers but God does believe in providing for oneself.
