Hi Vinod
If you have a convectional mocrowave onven you will be able to bake beautifully in it. Frying is not possible but you can get results as good as deep frying by using the microwave grill option .
Here's what I do for patties and fish . I put my marinade on the patty spear oil onit as well as on the glass bowl and grill+ microwave it for 2/3 mts on each side and the result is as good as fried.
Here is a site with lots of recipes specially for microwave cooking which I'm swure will prove useful.

BTW Tarla Dalal's microwave recipes were not to my liking but if you wish you may give them a try.
