So far this is what has been happening: We meet at church and then we go out to dinner with a group of people, or he just drops me back off at my place after church and sometimes he calls to check up on me and asks if I need anything. He said he worries about me if he doesn't see me at church or if he doesn't hear from me after some length of time. ...I am terrible at reading signs and or signals. I want a little more than just a friendship, but not a full blown bf gf relationship...No idea if there is such a thing as something in beween.

just take it for what it is right now, and if something is meant to progress, it surely will. just remember where you met, so things may go slower than usual. but if you really have strong feelings than dont go against what your heart tells you.
i think this man has alot of care for you.

I agree with gracielou - to take it for what it is right now.
It's a very good thing because what you are developing is a beautiful friendship. He seems very fond of you and cares about you a lot. If it ever will develop into something more than friendship, then it will be a strong one as it will have a strong foundation based on that special friendhsip that you and him have. If it will not, then you lose nothing - you still have your best friend.

When next he tells you he misses you or worries about you. Tell him you could get use to hearing that and see what he says.
Or just ask him .
And remember not all guys move at the speed of light.
He could just be a gentleman.
If I were you I would invite him over to your parents house for dinner.
Get to know him more.

seems like he really cares about you.but if you want to know for sure,don't be shy and ask.start talking about relationships to get the conversation started and kinda slip your question in there,if you don't want to ask straight up.don't be scared if nothing turns out of it atleast you know and you wont be torturing yourself to know exactly how he feels..hope this helps..
