Yes, they did. According to Islam, God created humanity out of mud. When Satan (Iblis/Lucifer/Shaytaan) saw the mud pile that was to be Adam, he spat upon it. Then Angel Gabriel scooped out that bit where the spit had landed and it turned into the belly button. God left this mark on all of humanity as a reminder what we will all be touched by Satan.

Does it really matter? By the wording of your question, I assume you don't think it does...the point I think you're trying to make being that Adam & Eve are ficticious and therefore the whole Bible is nonsense.

Apparent lack of proof means that you haven't found it. It doesn't necessarily mean that the thing under investigation is false. It could be that you've been looking in the wrong places or using the wrong equipment.

Of course, if you don't want to believe, that's your choice, so all the best for the future. Trult no sarcasm intended.

You might find this web site interesting, but only look at it if you want scriptural answers. Otherwise, dont bother. it's fine, so don't worry, but it's been nice writing to you any way.

Adam & Eve are characters in the Western Creation myth. Nothing more.

I don't think there was an Adam and Eve. If there is a God he/she will probably strike me down now - but I think I'll be OK.

A clever, humorous question.

I doubt it.

A belly button is the remnant of the umbilical cord. Since they didn't develop in a womb, they would have no need for a belly button.

Good question. They had no umbilical cords to sustain a life in the womb. No belly buttons, I guess.

I suppose they didn't seeing that they were never inside a womb attached to a placenta. Must have looked rather strange to their kids, I wonder how they explained it?

God is love my friend. He would have given them bellybuttons.

God understands they need somewhere to keep the salt when eating celery in bed.
