You have a subjective view of truth that isn't shared by everyone-you should respect that.

Truth can be absolute and universal, like the sun shines only during the day.But a 'truth' can be a matter of personal perception and belief , told with some ulterior motive also.
A truth can also be a concocted lie ,again with some ulterior motive , like 'Bushing' around in the UN general assembly and re-inventing the 'truth' to suit changing scenario to kill innocent people and generate permanent violence where there was none . Even absolute truth can be told selectively and viciously , out of context ,only to cause hurt and pain to innocent people and un-rest in the society to fulfill un-justified motives.
You as a true christian ,are talking about which of the above truths? For me,a true follower of any religion cannot talk derogatorily about Ram or Christ or Mohammad or Moses. For,any religion in its original and true form is meant for the benefit of entire humanity. What do you think?

Personally, I have never walked away from a good debate. And that's what this forum has become, a debate. You call it the truth but cannot back your argument with empirical based evidence. Therefore, I contend that you do not offer the truth but a fable. A fable based on some historical data that can neither be proved or disproved. You say it is the word of god, I say it is the fabrication of man based on limited knowledge of natural science and a great imagination.
Now, I ask you nicely, prove to me what you say is truth.

If your trying to tell someone the truth from one point of view then it ain't the truth because you are being blinded by what one has tought you. To know the WHOLE truth one must see the question and the answers from all points of view not just the one that they what to see it from.
Being hypothetical here if someone where to ask you about alien life and your said that they are lying how shame full would you be if an alien came right down and shook your hand and said hi. would you say that you were sorry for ever doughting that person. I bet not.
Being Christian doesn't make you know the answer now does it

All are ready to hear always THE TRUTH but they are watching on people I mean the way how they live, behave and how they react to others in the society . That is the reason why people do not want to hear the truth.

Ok ill break the question down into bits...
Christian.........
A christian is one who believes that a man named Jesus Christ, who claimed to be son of God, is son of God, and that this man, died for the sins of the world and rose again in 3 days.
A christian believes after death comes judgement.
A christian believes that the only way to go to heaven (a supposed place with no sin or suffering), is to believe and have faith in this man Jesus Christ, his death and ressurection. Otherwise you go to hell.
Truth.........
Definition Of Truth :a verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like.
As you can see truth is something that is indisputable. But there are so many scientists, other religions, athiests, that dispute over christianity and the bible, the book upon which it stands. So therefore it can not be said that it is truth.
Don't want to hear the truth.........
It's not that we dont want to hear the truth but that you can't prove it is the truth. One of the reasons why i turned agnostic (one who believes that it is impossible to know whether a god exists or not). The other reason...was and still is (i still like her and i cant imagine life without her) a girl i liked even more than i liked God. She has won my heart over, yet i havent won hers over (unrequited love).

I am becoming a Unitarian Christian. Jehovah's Witnesses hang around downtown-rain, snow or shine-with copies of 'The Watchtower'. They are subtler than they used to be. You used to have to walk six feet away from them, sometimes into the street, and around a car just to get away. Now they are really conditioned to believe in biblical literalism, but it is their right. I just want them not to push it on me.
They are not aggressive here. I have had Muslim women harass me while at home cooking. They would not leave for almost twenty minutes, in hopes of spreading the word. I do not care, if I wanted to convert, I would. That is the last thing on my mind. There were some aggressive JWs in the area, too, who came earlier that day. Chicken got burnt. Don't eat it anymore, but what a waste.
It is like people who keep pro-life vigils at the hospital, harassing and violating the rights of women. People who go to the Church regarding their opinions on same-sex marriage. Canada is a liberal country. It isn't perfect but it is pro-choice and most people accept gays. We are affiliated with the First United Church, the official Church of Canada, as Unitarians in our fellowship.
We are a subdivision and have AI meetings there. I do not care to have to watch vigils and protests and signs up all the time. It is nonsense. Do not join the church. It is not generally that bad, but I have seen it get that way at times. They would go to the church at night if they could get organized.

Here we go again!!!! Again, what makes you so certain that your beloved Christianity is the truth??? We have offered you another truth.... The bible has been messed with centuries ago by your "control group" trying to convert the whole danged world in their opinion's. Quit being such closed minded people, and think about all those fantastic miracles that you never see for yourself..... Why? Because it was Fiction....From the Beginning!!!!!

Well... when you actually DO find the Truth... I hope that you DO NOT share it... keep it to yourself and nurture it... for to expose it is to kill it. You betray the Truth by sharing it. Let people come as they will to the Truth, for the Truth shall set you free. You, on the other hand, do not appear to by free... bound to your beliefs like a leash binds a dog to a tree, when the owners are in the store without any thoughts afforded to the dog.

For the same reason I walk away from that guy selling the Amazomatic WhizVac Slicer-dicer. HE certainly believes in the product and believes how important it is that I know how it can improve my life. But my junk drawer full of old Veg-o-matics and Wonder WashWands says otherwise.
