Do they have a war on that too? I think the only common ground on evolution will come because both groups will help the whole of the human race to make it to the next level of evolution in which we are all spirit after the earth is destroyed in the coming war.

Unfortuneately, though any alliance between the two religions is a long way off, as neither side is willing to back down. No I don't think so.
Ignorance & superstition are common ground agaisnt education, science and knowledge. However, there is a tradition of scientific studies in Islam that might emerge again. Muslim scientists were at the forefront of research in anatomy, mathematics (they invented algebra), map making etc... at a time when Christians were deep in Medieval dark ages. Brilliant muslim scientist could emerge again once the minority of illiterate islamic fanatics are properly dealt with.
