Beer has B vitamins that lingers in it. A doctor for my great-grandmother had a doctor who told her to drink a can of beer a day to help prevent more heart problems. Besides the B vitamins beer also contains wheat, barley, & hops. All soda contains are sugars and dye.

Both are packed with empty calories. Light beer is around the same as regular soda, usually. If you can handle the caffeine, go with soda.

You should know, though, that neither of these drinks (even light or diet versions of them) is that great for your body. Better alternatives are teas, fruit juices, sports drinks (Gatorade, etc.) or the most healthy of all, water.

Neither !
12 oz of Adam's Ale [water !] is far more healthier - and easier on your purse as well.
If you like spending, opt for 12 oz of young coconut milk - which is both nourishing and refreshing.
