Not to be rude but it does beg the question why use English if your not going to use it correctly?....I`m curious thats all and I don`t mean anything bad by asking.......

Laziness, pure and simple. This happens for the same reason that Light Beer is now spelled Lite Beer (ironic, considering that the first time Lite was ever used was in the LITE BRIGHT toy, so technically, shouldn't Lite Beer glow?).

People don't bother to learn how to spell and frankly most of them look like ignorant punks. Personally, I don't spell-check my messages: I think it is horribly lazy. And I am in my mid-thirties and I am only now starting to use the function on my telephone (cellphone actually) that allows speed-dialing, because I always thought that relying on anything other than your own brain to recall telephone numbers was a sign of cerebral weakness.

However, my brain appears to be going soft.

well, the english language doesn't always fallow the rules.
There are other letters that make the Z sound. For instance "es"
is a Z sound.

yea americans are smart, btw, english is not an official language in the US

Well . . . The American just wanna be different.

My teacher call them smart alex, trying to shorted the word by changing colour to color. . . etc
