In need some advice... I have a cyst in the right hand side of my thyroid gland.... i am waiting for a date for a Thyroidectomy to have this taken out ..... however this is now starting to cause me great discomfort. Its a throbbing pain and i am getting a lot of headaches accompanied with a shooting pain through the lump and up the side of my neck. The lump itself is about the size of a golf ball and is embedded in my neck squashed next to my throat. I have had blood tests and a biopsy and also a scan... the hospital have said that it is non cancerous and that it is just a cyst. Its not fluid. Can anyone please give me some advise on how to ease the pain. :(

Call your doctor immediately, as any pain caused by the nodule on your thyroid could be a sign that it's infected or that it's pressing against blood vessels. I have a multi-nodular goitre also, and my doctor says that I must tell him immediately if it starts causing any sort of discomfort. Call your doctor today, and don't delay.

Good luck, and I hope you're marched straight up the waiting list so this can be sorted.

A few months ago, I was very sick, zero energy, freezing cold, depressed, weight gain, thought I was dying. I read every word of this Hypothyroidism Revolution program and followed all the advice. My life turned around the first week. I started to feel human again. Within weeks my energy came back and I felt like living again.

Get the entire hypothyroidism revolution system today? just choose the best option for you.

Call Your Dr, or see if Your area has the "Ask-a-Nurse" program.

Call information to find out.

I'd not advise any pain-pills, until-and-unless You get the OK from some medically-knowledgeable person/s.
