From one anorexic to another, in the begining it is a "choice" of sorts, but as you go along the very hard path of this disease it becomes less of choice and more of a "have to". This is a debiliating mental and physical disease. You will live with it for the rest of your life, just as I will, but you can learn to live "with" it. With the right medication, therapy and diet you can learn. I've been living with this for 15 years, and I have come along way, I still have to remind myself to eat, especially when I am stressed.
You need to go and see your doctor and get some help. It will kill you as it nearly killed me.
I think you've made the first step, now you need to make the next one and see a doctor. One that you trust. There is no way you can do this alone, maybe you could try a support group for information with regards to where you can go for help.
Good Luck!!!!

Well you do not have to do it alone or have the money, that is what mental health is for, and a lot of hospitals, will not charge you if you let them know that you can pay the bill. These both are really serious, and you will have to work on them for the rest of your life, to make sure you do eat, and keep it down long enough to get the protein and that you need from the food. These disorders, can shrink all of your organs, and no you can not get them back to normal size after that happens. So go and seek some professional help, and explan that you do not have the money , you will find that some will help anyway, and so will not. But there are ways to get help if you really want it and need it. so go and check into it. Most people that become this way do not choose to be that way, there is usually something behind it, deep rooted that causes it. So once again i really feel that you need to go and seek out professional help, cause their are people out there that will help you with this problem, by the way a little praying never hurt neither.

When people say that you have chosen to be in your current state, they mean subconsciously. It is not a conscious decision which is why it is harder to drive away.
The emotional issues related to this condition are power, self-esteem, self-image, energy, will power and responsibility issues. You need to look into these aspects of your life and see if you can relate them to any of your emotional problems.
Since your problem began so early in life, there are chances you might not even remember what happened to cause damage to your self-esteem/ self-image.
I suggest trying out some alternative therapies like pranayama (regulating your breath), raw food therapy, reiki, etc. I am sure they will help you. I suggest meditation as well - it helps resolve emotional and mental blocks.
If you don't know pranayama, just to go the terrace every morning and take really deep breaths, exhaling fully, for about 15 min every day.
Also, as a conscious effort, start eating just a little bit more everyday. Just a little, and eat slowly. Colas, chips and burgers will only worsen the situation, please avoid them. Try eating more of dry fruits, and salads, and drinking soups, juices and milk.

First of all, I could not take your word on how you look if you are accused of being anorexic. As far as help, Have you seen a doctor (physical)? Has he diagnosed anorexia? Where are your parents? Do they want to get help for you? I am not sure about the whole anorexia thing, but a lot of mind problems can be helped just by seeking help from a physical doctor first. He can tell you much better how to begin helping yourself. I hope everything works out for the best.

Those people don't understand how difficult it is for you to "just eat". A psychologist (therapist) would be your best bet, if you have insurance or other means. If not, look in your local area for support groups that deal with your problem (it's free and very effective). Eating disorders are more common than most people realize. If you have your own library card research books that might help, I bet there are tons, but professional help is the best thing you can do.

No you are not stuck. I am sure that you will be eating food soon if you start eating the stuff you like. If you cannot eat alot, try fluids like shakes, etc. Try to eat stuff thats high in protein and carbs so that there is growth in your body ( tissue, etc) and you have a normal level of glucose. Keep few munchies

I've had two ex-girlfriends with annorexia and bolemia, so I consider myself knowledgeable on the subject. read carefully:
you're hot!!! you are smoking hot and there's hundreds of men out there who have felt desire for you! whether you want to stay a size 1 or maybe put on a few pounds is your decision; you're fine and beautiful either way. you're not messed up, you're just gorgeous.
