If I install Vista to a seperate partition, and leave XP - nothings gonna break right? I can select which operating system I want to use on startup? anyone tried yet?

most would think it would work, but not exactly.

through my experience with installing vista to a computer with multiple partitions or multiple drives-

vista installs extra files to the other partitions so that you cannot move the active vista partition to another computer. i find it completely BS but Ive dealt with it by removing all other drives before an install. if the partitions or drives are removed, the vista partition will not boot. bottom line.

Havn't tried it but that has been done with other systems. There should be a command prompt like thing that would show something like this:

Windows XP
Windows Vista

Iread somewhere that vista supports guest operating systems. don't know how.
