yes you can.......but you can't get tonsillitis !! I am not being a smart a**..it is true !
I had my tonsils removed at age 11
i rarely even get sore throats at all !!

unfortunately you can...my cousin got his removed long back...but he still always gets a strep throat...but the intensity is less as thr tonsils are not there and thus less inflamation and fever and the recovery is faster...but these days doctors advise against removing tonsils bcoz the benefits are not too many...hope it wrks out for you tho...take care dear!

Oh yes, and strep throat is the pits. You feel like crap for a couple of weeks and you need a strong antibiotic to knock it.
