You hair goes through growth and death cycles, while new hair fibres are being grown all the time others fall off. Poor health can also lead to hairloss. If you are smaller than the average this could be the case.
If you are concerned you should see your doctor, he/she will give you a more thorough answer. If you are indeed losing your hair and not because of health problems, your doctor can prescribe some things for you. It is normal to start losing your hair at this age, although it can be quite stressful.
Your doctor could prescribe Rogaine (something you apply to your head everyday), Propecia ( a pill you take everyday), these two by themselves each are suppose to stop the hair loss and sometimes even grow hair back.
Good luck.

try using hair moisturisers and conditioners. the dryness of your hair can affect how fast it flakes off, even if you have an oily complexion. Ive managed to dramatically cut hair flaking just by using conditioner. try using Pantene or Loreal Conditioners (not shampoo+conditioner... just plain conditioner. they might smell girly, but nothing a little cologne or deodorant cant hide.
Again, this might be more than just you having dry/brittle hair. Your diet (eat your veggies) and other habits (smoke? coffee? stimulants? steroids? DON'T!!) may affect hair loss.
again, it could be a thing in the family... compare your hair loss to that of your relatives'... if you're a first and only, chances are that its not genetic... if there are others with the same problem... it becomes more likely.
finally, you could be looking at some kind of skin disease... but thats in very severe cases only... you should go to a doctor whether you suspect disease or not.

If it's genetic then there's not much you can do about it. Try finasteride 1mg (e.g. Propecia), it slows the rate of hair loss and you can get a prescription from your dermatologist. You might like to try minoxodil (Rogaine) as well, although I found it never worked for me.
If it's not genetic, and it's caused by something like stress then it should grow back by itself within a few weeks. You could try some Rogaine if it gets really bad.

Are you going bald? Because everyone loses hair. Its just changing of the season. I think on average you lose about a thousand hairs a day? Maybe I know you lose alot, but if you are balding then you should probably tell your parents.

Boss,
Your hairs are going means going and nothing can stop it at all. Trust me I had utilised so many things on my hairs but no result. You can do one thing to stop it . Just use Coconut oil +little bit camfer on it and use it . It will definately stop falling hairs (it will reduce but cant stop it) If u had dandruf in ur head then try to rmove it first.

You may take the flower hibiscus and rub it on the head. The hair falling will stop and start growing. If there are extracts of hibiscus flower in medicinal form you may use them.
