Late one evening, a man and a his wife were driving their car at speed down a country road. The car spun of the road and hit a tree.
The man decided to seek help at a garage a few miles away.
He made sure nobody was in the car, rolled all the windows up, and locked all of the doors.
When he returned, his wife was dead, and there someone in the car he had never seen before.
No physical damage was done to the car, it was still locked.

the wife gave birth to a baby.. she probably died while giving birth.. the stranger in the car was the baby

The stranger was hiding behind the tree, and when the man left, the stranger strangled the woman, took her own set of keys, got into the car and locked it. The husband would have been better off letting the wife wait in the car.

The woman may have died from the accident. And the stranger could simply be a doppelganger, if you believe in that kind of thing. : )
