Yes, it's been rather consistant over the past three years, it takes up a good portion of my right ear. I've been using Peroxide and Ointment to help fight the infection, for hopes that it'll just go away.... I was wondering if anyone knew anything about this?

THREE YEARS?!?!?!
Go to the doctor! It might be skin cancer!
My mom had a little bump on her ear for the longest time and then one day she woke up and it had become the size of a pea overnight. She had it removed and it turned out to be cancer.
I just do NOT know what to say to people who don't go to the doctor. It infuriates me that people don't take better care of themselves.

FYI >peroxide is an acid that eats off the top layer of an open sore. If you are continually rinsing that sore every day it will NEVER dry up and go away. Each time you use it the whole area of the sore gets the topscab eaten right off, it stays an open scabby yucky sore. Acid eaten and raw.

What if this is a cancer that you are not seeing about? This can be one since it has not gotten well in 3 years. Of course it could be something else, but a sore that does not get well needs to be seen by a doctor. Please go see a doctor of dermatology and have it examined. My grandmother lost the top part of her ear to a cancer.
