My little brother and I are in our twenties as well. We don't talk much, but it doesn't mean that we don't love each other. Even though I couldn't tell you what he's doing this exact moment, or even what he's done with this past week, I'd still take a bullet for the guy.

I notice many brothers among friends of mine going through the same thing. My roommate hardly speaks to his brother, but when he needs money, there's no ill will toward either when it's loaned.

Who knows how they'll be in their thirties. If they start families and settle down, maybe they'll start having more of a need to lean on each other. But honestly, I'm not to that point yet, so I couldn't tell you.

All the best

You should be a proud mother for them not fighting! (smile) They are grown young men now. They are maturing so let them grow.

You are probably missing them being young kids fighting with one another. I do that myself. Kids grow like weeds and there is no stopping them either from growing up! This should not sadden you, it should make you feel thankful that they are not boys who are out in the streets. They now have respect for each other and now they have come to respect you because they are older now. Just let them grow up! They even say it is nothing to worry about. So don't worry mom! (smile)

If they don't talk, they will come around. It happens all the time. Usually starts with one coming to the other. They are brothers still and that's what counts. I am pretty sure they still love each other too, so don't worry too much.

i have two brothers who are in their 20's and fighting and making up is all part of their genetic makeup...sometimes people just don't get along even if they are related...they are boys so i think alpha male syndrome kicks in and things become a territorial issue...as long as they are civil and respect you be glad...they will eventually come around in their own time but its their decision..don't force it or definite animosity could happen..good luck

Give them time, don't let it get to you. They need time to figure out who they are without each other. They will each need one another again in life, just don't fret about their gaining independance.
