what does it mean when you have been dating this guy off and on for two years and inbetween the time you were dating it felt like you were still dating .you did everything together even sexually and he says he loves you but he wants to date around because he is to young to settle down at the moment but he is with you more then his gf(s) when he is dating them .. and when you are dating him he doesnt really invite you to hang out with his friends but sometimes he does .. but mostly its just you and him alone at one of your guys houses.. and also he brings them over to your house with him..but recently he broke up with him gf for me ..after we had this long talk about everything..now does he love me or not..i know he cares for me i can see it in his eyes and feel it in his touch and hear it in his voice.. but i just wonder if he is still hoping for something better and if he really loves me

He sounds as if he is a real player. Dump him now, and spend the time you would have spent on him getting to know yourself better. You need to build your self esteem so that you will realize that he was most definitely not worthwhile, but you are!!! Any guy who cannot realize the value of a good woman does not understand what love is, therefore he is not capable of loving anyone.
Give your time to people who need you, such as being a volunteer. Or learning something new. Travel to a new place,
or take a class on something you always wanted to learn.

Sounds like me when I was younger and had the "GUY" stereotype. You are giving him a piece of A$$ and he will take all he can whenever he feels he wants some. He may like you a lot or have deep feelings but you will soon realize he is and a$$hole and never want to talk to him again. A few of the ladies I used to do that to don't speak to me. One day he will realize that he is not being a good person and is hurting others and will change.

It sounds as if he wants to keep his options open. You are allowing him to date other women so why should he settle down with you? This way, he gets to have his cake and eat it too (not fond of that old saying, but it worked for this situation).
You need to respect yourself and put your foot down. If you want a real relationship with this guy, tell him. If he says no, dump him.
Stop wasting your time with him if he only wants to play with you.
