I won't feel anything if I am dead. And as many generations have already passed believing that he will return, if he returns in mylifetime I will be very happy. If he doesn't return during my lifetime, my life will end happy and satisfactory knowing that he will return.
So till the end of time, nobody can surely say that he has not returned. And if he doesn't then all other theories about religion and afterlife will also fail. In which case nobody will be alive by then to feel silly or not about it.

Well my pal, you'll ask this query hundreds of thousands of occasions however you're going to best get peoples guesses you're going to in no way get a real reply. That is due to the fact that no guy is aware of while Jesus will go back, Jesus himself does not even recognise, best God the Father is aware of while he'll ship his son again to Earth to avoid wasting us all. :)

Jesus told us to watch for his return. He just didn't say exactly when it would be because only God knows that. There are signs and many prophecies being fulfilled but even if He doesn't return in my lifetime, I won't regret a single breath spent following Him.
I'm just wondering how much you're going to grieve when you realize that Jesus is the Lord.

Jesus Himself told us that just before He comes back their will be certain events happening in our world. With each generation we are getting closer to the fulfillment of those events. Especially sinse 1948 when a prophesy concerning Israel made by Jesus came true. He said that the generation that sees it will not pass away before His return.

I won't feel silly, because I know He is coming back. Christ has His own time and only God knows when that will be. There are several things that need to be done before He comes for us and when those things are finished He will be here for His children.
How will you feel when He comes and you realize you're not ready?

You're asking this question on the basis that Jesus won't come back.
Well, he will, but it doesn't matter when, what matters is whether I'm ready for it or not.
And IF (if) he doesn't come back that means he doesn't exist, and I'll just lift my hands in surrender for believing in something totally wrong all these years.
Please.

Jesus is not coming back, he knows better. He sees how the Catholic Church is resistant to change. If he came back, the Church would call him a fake and a liar. He wouldn't stand a chance.

Well, just look at it this way. When millions of people just vanish off the face of the earth one day, just remember what we told you.
