I try to be as different as possible on the net, because in real life, I'm a plain jane with no personality. But on the internet I totally open up and I'am myself. Anyways, on websites I join I try to make my profiles, messages and name as creative and silly as possible but I always find people who copy my name and ideas. Like they add numbers to a name or copy my messages and send them to friends like they wrote them or if I can broadcast a stupid ,meaningless message on a website, someone else goes and copies me. And then I get chewed out by that persons friend for copying! How can I make it so I get less copy cats ??

Grin and bear it... at least you know who the brain behind the scenes really is...
Some people think nothing about copying another person and taking credit... happens to me all the time so I understand your frustrations..

BUT.... oh well.............

GOOD LUCK

Unfortunately you can`t stop copy cats and at least you know that your the original, there maybe more to human nature than any of us can fully understand.. The Internet is a great tool and an escape for some and yes it does help to open some of us up a Lil but we still have our own persona (U follow?)...... Don`t beat yourself up about it too much it`s not really in your control...

Register the nick and don't reveal your true identity so that you can't get into trouble. Also let it be a lesson to you that that chat rooms are a nasty place and can get really mean and ugly. You are opening your system up for viruses to be sent to you from hateful persons within that room.
You sell yourself short when you say that in reallife you haven't a personality. Your personality is that of the one you are displaying on the net or you wouldn't be able to be that way.
Work on your self-confidence.

It's not a big deal. The Internet is pretty fake. Don't worry about it.

I know of nothing you can do - but if you think of something, a lot of people will be very interested.

You can't stop them. Take it as a compliment. They have no imagination and you do.
