AdamINK gave you the right answer. Darn it that's what I was going to say so I voted a positive for his answer but I will add this to make things even easier for you...Yes , mixing any two complimentary colors make brown . but what are complimentary colors? Get yourself a "color wheel" as found in any art instruction book or the dictionary or google it and complimentary colors are the ones exactly opposite each other on that color wheel. So you can have a range of different browns by mixing any opposite (complimentary)colors. Have fun!

That's very easy. I found this out when by experimenting myself when I was about six. Now you try it. Just keep mixing colors until you find the right combination. don't be upset if I didn't really answer your question. This is one of those that you would quickly find the answer to on your own if you only gave it a little thought. If my son, who is 5 by the way, asked me this, I would say, "Sweety, just keep mixing different colors until you get brown." I've been treating him like this since he has known how to talk and today he definitely has a mind of his own and nobody can tell him what to think.

You can mix red, yellow, and blue, or any pair of complementary colors (like red and green).

Do it a little at a time to see if you need more of one color than the other. If you want a darker shade, add a dab of black.

pretty much any obscure colors you mix together will give you brown... the issue is entirely dependent upon what shade of brown you want. experiment.
