Why is it that if you pray to jesus tonight to heal all innocent and defenseless babies with bone cancer.....There will still be the same exact number of babies with bone cancer?

Why don't you call the nearest children's cancer treatment center tonight and ask them how many kids there have cancer......Pray for god to heal just one of them tonight and then call tomorrow for the results?

Is it because you already know what the result will be and you don't want to waste your time?

(btw, I donate a portion of my income to cancer treatment....you see that has a chance of actually helping people.)

The scripture says that if you pray to jesus...HE WILL HEAL and answer your prayers.
Would anyone like to try and test this scripture out tonight on a kid with cancer?

First of all... props to you for donating. My mother died of cancer.
But you need to understand this, OUR prayers don't heal. God has a chosen path for us all, even the innocent babies. Our prayers shouldn't be for us asking God to heal people but to instead help that person with the pain and down days. Pray that God will take the persons' suffering away. As bad as cancer is, there is a reason (God's Plan) for the people to go through it. Don't question it, just have Faith. Have Faith that that persons case will be valuable to someone else's life. Everything happens for a reason...God's reason. Remember this too, the Devil has powers too and when anyone says it is a waste of time to pray or praise God, then Satan is given more power.
While your donations are great, the power of God is greater.

Thank you for your question
GOD BLESS!!

I think that you dontate is great. It sounds like you are dealing with something. I am sorry for that. I think it is sad that God has to allow this in an attempt to get out attention. I wish people would listen, but see the thing is you have a choice, you can hate God for the disease that He allows, but did not create, or you can turn to Him and admit you need Him in your life. God wants us to lean on Him. He wants us to lean on him during the bad times and rejoice with him during the good. He wants to bless us, but he gives us a choice.

If your life is hard you blame God, if your life is good you take credit or chuck it up to luck. Really look to yourself, what would God have to do to get you attention and have you believe?

There are those who I truly believe have been healed by prayer. But maybe you would say it was a testing error and they never had cancer, or it was the chemo, would you believe if I told you that my Christian friends and I stayed up praying all night for this specific child and the next day she was well? No I am not saying this, I am just asking would you have believed me.

I took a class recently and heard a way to think of things that I liked. God will always deliver you in one of 3 ways.

He will deliver you from the fire (He will heal you of the cancer before the first treatment, must have been an accident in the testing right?)
He will deliver you through the fire (He will allow the cancer, but allow you to survive it a stronger person...must be the chemo and radiation right?)
Or He will deliver you by the fire straight into His arms (You will have cancer and you will die from it...God must have forsaken this person or there must not be a God right?)

This is why there are not more healings. God does things with a plan in mind. We may not always know the plan, but there is one there. I pray you will choose to trust and have faith.

you cannot make ignorant assumptions like these. how do you know this for a fact? how do you know that the numbers would have radically increased, if it hadn't been for the prayers?

As a cancer patient myself, I can tell you that I have been in the presence of several children and adults who have been healed of cancer through prayer. Why dont you go to the cancer hospitals and ask the Drs and nurses about sudden recoveries they have seen? I know not everyone is healed through prayer, but many are. And I am convinced that I wouldnt be alive today if it werent for the prayers and love from my family and friends. I might die from the cancer, I might be healed, but I know, that regardless... Ive been made a better person through it.

You sound like the old story in the bible of the devil tempting Jesus.. I think people should support cancer research and want to share a little bit about a miracle of faith that happened to me.My daughter contracted cancer at 15 and we didn't even know she was sick until she was terminal .We were at st judes in Memphis almost three years with them telling us she was going to die.. People from all over were praying .They even give her the "wish I could grant" they only give that to children that are dying..At the very end..They said we have an experimental drug that we aren't sure will work but we have to have your permission to try it.. Well we gave our permission..12 years later she is alive and doing great and has a child.. so support cancer research of course St Judes..prayer yes I believe and one other tid bit ..also 14 years ago ..My wife was terminal they operated told her she had three months to live to get her affairs in order and then she went to the doctor and they found nothing..She was healthy and they couldn't figure out why .Now you tell me whats going on?

1. Jesus cannot heal anyone without the help of GOD. So you must not pray to Jesus(pbuh) as he is not God. There is only one God (ALLAH) who has no partner. Nothing is like Him. He is the Creator, not the created, nor a part of His creation. He is All-Powerful, absolutely Just, All-Knowing, All-Merciful, the Supreme, the Sovereign. There is no entity worthy of worship besides Him...

2. A true believer can do lot of miracles but without showing off to the world.

3. God is logical, he made the disease and gave us the remedy as well which we have to find.

4. God also ask people to donate money to good causes. You are doing a good job.. Keep it up

The lord hears our prayer... There is no exact time frame when our prayer will be answered. You must have extreme faith that the lord will deliver. In some aspect he does answer your prayer.
The fact that you donate a portion of your income to cancer treatment, shows that the holy spirit is shining through you to actually provide that commitment.
Ask and you shall receive. Trust in the lord versus your own understanding.
God Bless you

How do you know that I wasn't the one that prayed for someone to give a portion of their income to cancer treatment?

The knowledge what doctors have to treat the affected children are given by good. what ever good is there, god is behind every moral things in the world. miracles are called as miracles because god did them in an unexpected and impossible manner. we can expect mirracles but it is will not happen with out god's permission. Death is inevitable, it is natural to die , but god judges the children with more grace and kindness.
