I am that ex gf who's clingy and high maintenance. but i'm not like that any more. i dont call him, dont email him, basically leave him alone now, trying to make him miss me or miss all the attention i gave him. He's never been popular, very shy. i dont really worry he wants to date others. the reason he broke up with me is b/c he has difficulty balancing everything in his life so he doesnt want a relationship right now. Do u think after like 1 month or 2 of leaving him alone, will he be back?

I doubt that he will come back on his own without some
invitation / encouragement from you...

Whoa, I'd get back in touch with him pretty quick there. If you want him back, it's not a matter of disappearing while he does his balancing act. It's a matter of stepping up to the plate and letting him know that he doesn't have to "balance" you into his equations. If you care about the guy, let him know that you'll be there even if he's got a lot going on. You can handle a little cut in attention for now if it means you can still be together. Heck, even try to help the guy out if you can. That's what a relationship really means, after all. Call him, email him, let him know you want to be there for him. Just, yeah, don't start up the clingy thing again. Call him today, talk to him for a little while and let him know how you feel. Skip a day or two, then call again. Good luck!

yet while he says "psycho" does he smile and a twinkle come into his eyes?! Kidding! properly, seems to me, a fella, that this fella is envious of you in some way. Maybes as you're saying, having no longer a great deal of attractiveness, he feels the shortcoming of your relationship plenty heavier, yet quite of moving in the direction of you in reconciliation, he's moving remote from you by applying putting ignorant feedback against you. who's the actual loser of this smash-up? And do you want to be somewhat of a relationship with such skill hostility, quite? on an identical time as a chum, he's doing you no favours, and human beings will see and realize that too, so do no longer complication! i think of you're greater beneficial off without, whether that's difficult for the 2d-stick along with your actual buddies, kiddo! desire this helps!
