There is written and oral evidence in history. After his resurrection, Jesus was seen on America. The Book Of Mormon says he preached his gospel to the natives. In ancient Mexican history, there are references to a bearded man-god who came from the sky and ascended as well after spending some time teaching them holly matters. He said he would come back some day, so when a thousand and a half years later Hernan Cortez arrived, he was mistaken for Quetzalcoatl, and that gave him the advantage he needed to take down an entire civilization with just a pile of mercenaries. There are even baptism piles in ancient Mexican ruins. And I've seen them by myself. Do I believe it? Well, yes!

Actually his death and the fact that his body disappeared from it's tomb, is recorded in Jewish and Roman secular history. Also hundreds of people claimed to have seen him after the Crucifixion, now that may be only circumstantial evidence at best, but enough to convict you in court, if hundreds of eyewitnesses claim it was you thy saw commit the sin!
