Hypocrites? I am a retired Marine and made it my career and loved it, but, I volunteered to love it. But, your comment is like "calling the kettle black", and you're no different, why are you not enlisted my brave citizen? Many Y!A members have probably seen my posting many times, two of my sons are in Iraq DOING THEIR SECOND TOUR OF DUTY, and not once have I heard any one of them complain, about the orders from their commanders. But, in here I hear a lot of complainers, including you..Sir

Not all young people who support the war are in front of a computer at home. Many are in the war. You are the first Native American I've seen who wasn't patriotic when it came to a war being fought, although not all enlisted as you think they would have to be.

Some of us here have done just that! I've been to Desert Storm, and been activated again for the War on Terrorism, and back home for now. If, and/or when, my unit is called again, I'll go again. In the mean time, I work my full time job, train with my unit in the reserves, and watch all the nut cases scream about how horrible it is over there. How many of these nutcases have first hand experience of what really goes on there?

You can't really judge anyone unless you know the whole truth. That is their choice, just like anyone who enlists; that is THEIR choice. I support the war and all they're trying to do and I'M sitting in front of a computer, but I try in other ways by supporting organizations, voicing my opinion, or whatever it takes.

The person who r not having the practical experience of war may support it, sitting infront of a computer. War cannot be the solution of any cause in this civil world.

Right on! They talk a lot but do squat! They don't even support the troops! They say they do, but not a damn one of then picked up their phone to their Senator and asked why Bush was cutting 8 Billion out of the VA Hospital budget! They think calling people who have been in a war names makes them somehow know more about one!
I agree, go ride one of those unarmored Humvee's they sent the troops to war with and the body armor their own damn parents had to buy!

what you think they cant email from Iraq ? My family has had members serve in the last 6 years, many people whjo support the war or Love America are serving, you ought to contribute your part too, keep in mind support of our troops is not always support of the nut in the White House.

I'm not so sure that that many young people support the war. However, we support the soldiers. There's a difference, you know.

It's called 'free will' or 'freedom of choice'. I suppose you support the draft, eh? This is America and everyone has a free will to choose what he/she wants to do - it's called 'choices' - not 'communism'. Get a grip! They are NOT hypocrits! You, for one, should talk about being hypocritical here. If you're one of those liberal bozos that keep whining on and on about Iraq, then why aren't YOU enlisted - you're here on Yahoo Answers, aren't u? Why don't YOU get off the computer and enlist! Or would you prefer the draft instead?

Support for the war {or not} by young or old will decide the outcome. If the American public does not have the desire to see it through, it will end.
