How can you "stop" laziness? If you are talking about a teen or a man, then it is an uphill battle!! I find that I get my lazy teens back...they won't do a chore I asked them to do, I don't drive them somewhere, or i "forget" to give them an allowance or "forget" to wash their laundry. If it is a partner, then basically do the same thing. Don't do something they won't do...don't cook for them, don't clean for them, don't do errands. I'm a neat freak and my family knows it. I couldn't figure out why everyone was so lazy.......I "enabled" them just like addicts !! Hope this helps
