wow this is pretty controversial--
but I wondered the same thing when I was into wicca a while back. And asked the same question. Here is what I found in my search. One of the ten commandments that no other god shall come before me, right? OK well in paganism, there are tons of 'deities" which are kind've like sub-gods. And depending on what kind've magick work you are doing you call upon these deities to help make your will. Anyways it all gets really complicated. Why dont you do what I do and just get the Quit Smoking in 7 Days Pill. It works great. Otherwise, good luck with your chant-o-matics. And remember as long as your recognize your God as the SUPREME power, you are still following his commandments.

The "Chant-o-matic" is not Pagan... even if it says that it is.
Pagans have a lot of things out there that are just books writtne by shady people trying to make a buck at someone elses expense.
That being said; anything will work if you believe in it and actually attempt to follow through..
Some of Christianity is based upon a preexisting set of Pagan rituals as well as some Pagan values.

No. however, i smoked for many years and when i decided to quit i prayed many times. read your Bible and use your Christian support group. this will serve you better than any made up pagan chants. the chants by the way are only mind re-enforcers so quoting a scripture over and over would be much more appropriate as a Christian.

There are two seprate answers.
First, All the 'chant' is is a prayer. Switch the 'goddess/diety' to 'god/Jesus' and you will be fine. Spells are just what pagans call prayer.
However, if you are interested in Paganism, all that means is that you believe that there is an equally powerful goddess next to your god. If that isnt something that you agree with, or that you care to wrap your mind around, that's fine. You can write your own prayers based on the spells and chants in that book, and you will be fine.

Don't worry about it. Where do you think the church go its major holidays form, or saints or some symbols? They did not just think of them all by them selves. Ever notice how Christmas is about the same time as winter solstice? You wont go to hell. I feel that some Christan's are too narrow mined and only go with what the priest or pope says is OK. If you want replace the god with a saint or change the words abit to where u are comfortable.

"Magick of Chant-O-Matics"??? Sheeesh. If you're a Christian, you know what to do: pray, pray, pray! Give your smoking problem to Jesus each morning, and whenever you are tempted to light up. He'll get you through, no worries. And throw away that "Magick" book, it's against God. Don't keep it, don't trade it, don't give it away. Throw it in the trash where it belongs. Blessings to you!

Being a Christian means you believe in Jesus right? Well if you are open to what he did then it's OK to believe in chants. I believe he chanted after all he was brought up Jewish. Don't worry so much.

Paganism (from Latin paganus, meaning "a country dweller" or "civilian") is a term which, from a western perspective, has come to connote a broad set of spiritual or religious beliefs and practices of natural or polytheistic religions. The term can be defined broadly, to encompass many or most of the faith traditions outside the Abrahamic monotheistic group of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. This group may include the Dharmic religions, which incorporate seemingly pagan characteristics like nature-worship, idol-worship, polytheism and reverence of female deities, and are thus diametrically opposite to the christian faiths.
so, i suggest u not to practice the chants. u wanna quit smoking, i believe that God can help u. with His help, some ppl even able to quit taking drugs.

Well ask yourself this, does this concern you so much that it might make it hard for the product to work properly? In that case don't waste your time. But really, did you celebrate Christmas this year with a Christmas tree and all the trimmings on Dec 25th? That's Pagan too, so now really isn't the time to start picking and choosing what you do based on weather it's Pagan related or not...
