Hello, I have been doing hair for many years and the one thing I love most is color. Which ever brand you decide to use over the counter make sure you turn the 20vol ume developer into 10 volumee developer. A 10 volum will deposit and put pigment back into the hair, and a 20 volum or above will lift. So what you need to do is take the developer and use equal parts with water. If there is 1oz of developer then dump 1/2 ounce out and replace with water, and mix with all color, and apply to hair for 45 min. When it is 10 vol. it will shut off automatically when processes complete with out damaging your hair. Plus it will give you full Grey coverage. I hope this helps take care and good luck.

If you have blode hair i suggest SHIMMER LIGHTS found at Sallys Beauty Supply. other wise you can have your hair toned, its not actually dying your hair....that always does the trick for gray hairs
