I have been working on my credit score for the past year and I finally got it up to 620 now it in the 500's, I recently started nursing school and it s out of state so therefore I had to take out multiple loans to cover my tuition. Did taking out the loans affect my credit score? they aren't in repayment b/c I am in school

they do affect your credit scoring even if deffered some lenders will even budget up to 2% of your deffered balances depending on their guideline on the amount owed

Yes - any time you make out applications and your credit is run you take a hit. Your credit usually recovers in a few months but they will still show up even if they are deferred.
