What kind of help you need? If you marry some one, who is US/Canadian permanent resident/Citizen, then you can emigrate easily. Also you can emigrate on your own merits.

In USA:

- Try H1-B visa (If you've University degree or in nursing profession), at the end it might get you citizenship.
- Try DV-Lottery , which happens every year. But remember this is lottery and if you're lucky you get it or just out.

In Canada:

Try to see whether you qualify any of the existing category(http://cic.gc.ca).

You can't become a canadian citizen one year. You may be able to become a permanent resident in one year, and then a citizen 3 years later.

If you are really interested in immigrating to Canada, go to Canada Immigration's website: www.cic.gc.ca

There are lots of different classes under which you can immigrate. It all depends on your credentials.

Good luck!

A good starting point might be to go to the embassy of each of those countries in your home country and ask questions.

You don't say where you are from, but I know that the U.S. has a lottery system with certain countries every year where a certain number of people are allowed in with few requirements - such as proof of the ability to support yourself. It would be helpful if you have a special skill which is in demand in the U.S, or if you have relatives who are already legally living in the U.S.

Canada is too frigid and they say their "o's" funny.

Australia is full of poisonous, foul creatures and snakes that will kill you.

If you stay out of the swamps and away from the alligators, Florida is a great place to live.

Thanks generalchris...toosweet. IM me.
