i know this is one of the central issues put forth on the R/S section, but i am asking now for tonights concensus....
As a christian, do you believe that people that are genuinely good, whether your a christian, jew, skeptic, etc. go to heaven, or is it pretty clear-cut: don't believe in christianity itself then you are in hell forever?
feel free to elaborate your theological supposition.

It's foolish to believe in a heaven, yet also believe that not all good people will go to it. It just doesn't seem right to me, it seems like whoever created christianity made it like some kind of club rather than a religion and made up stupid rules.

It's pretty clear cut in the Bible, that ANYONE that does not accept Jesus as their savior is going to Hell once they die, No matter how good a person they were.

Jesus said, "You must worship your lord god with spirit and truth." If someone is really doing that, I think they'll be fine. As for my feelings on the false doctrine of hellfire, I posted tham so many times I don't feel like explaing it all again.

It is not for any of us to say....whether you believe one way or another only God reads the heart and thus only he can determine what becomes of his children.....ALL OF THEM!(meaning we are all his children, just as anyone of us is the child of our parents, we can choose to listen and love our father or not)

As a Christian I must believe that only people that except Jesus as their Savior will be in Heaven !!
