thats a good question. supposing he exists, which i personally don't, i think that no he doesn't time travel. but it would not be a matter of whether he himself had the "power" to do so, it is that god would have no need. If god created humanity (and all else) and set them in a state of existence in which he were to test them with free will; in his omnipotence, he would have no need for time travel. all he needs to do is sit back and watch and use the hand of providence as needed.

God created time and He is not bound by it. If you imagine holding up a pencil to symbolise a time line. Hold the sharp end on the left. The sharp end can symbolise the begining of time. Time therefore moves forwards from the sharp end of the pencil towards the other end of the pencil. In this scenario, God is everywhere AROUND (and IN/ON if you like) the pencil. Therefore, God is immediately to the left of the sharp end of the pencil. I.E. God existed before 'In the begining'. God is also everywhere else along the time line and of course He has full visibility and interaction with anyone traveling along the timeline.

God created time and he lives outside of time. But, in a sense, He did "time travel" when He became a man 2000 years ago.
