Pour the 8 glass into the 5 glass.

Pour the 3 glass into the 8 glass.

So, the 3 glass has 2oz. The 5 glass is empty. The 8 glass has 6 oz.

Pour the 8 glass into the 5 glass.

This leaves you with 1 oz in the 8 glass.
