I have not personally tried it, but found that the system for my teenage daughter to be so time consuming that she didn't want to bother with all the bottles.
Second part of your question is if Proactiv works? I think it depends on the severity of the acne and how deep and large the acne is and too, if the person will follow the directions of using the product as recommended and not whenever you remember.

This is also mentioned in the paperwork Proactiv sends you that there is no guarantee that this system will clear up your acne. I've heard that people who have tried Proactiv had ended up getting a prescription through a dermatologist.

I'm not a teenager...but Proactiv worked like a magic for me. This is the only product in this earth I can't live without!

I had acne my whole life after the first 3 days my skin felt unbelievable it had a nice shine it even worked on the black heads that invaded my nose

It depends on the person. I think it's the best thing I've tried so far -- but I think the cleanser alone works about as well as cleanser+toner+lotion.

No. However, if you take lemon juice and rub it on your face it will. Lemon juice is high in citric acid. For a really bad zit, use hydrogen peroxide.

yes, but it's different for everyone. however, if you decide on using it, your skin will become very dependent on it. you'll probably have to use it for a really long time.
