Before you were saved did any of you ever have dreams about demons that were so real you wondered if it was really a dream?

The reason I ask this is because I had this kind of dream a couple years ago when me and a friend got done chanting and playing with an ouija board. I had a dream of being surrounded by demons and I could not move or anything. I tried to wake up but couldn't. Finally when I did come to, I did not want to go back to sleep. I have had others tell me of similar dreams. This happened before I found salvation with Jesus.

No, dreams, but back before I was a Christian this girl talked me into doing the Ouija board and she had a candle lit. Soon after starting, the candle just exploded. That was all I needed to know! I have never touched the "game" again after that. I became a Christian a few years later.

I was just beginning to become a Christian when I had an encounter with a demon. I didn't turn around to see if it was actually standing there, but I heard it, plain as day. Any one that has heard a demon cannot mistake it. As soon as I said, "the Lord Jesus Christ rebuke you." It left. I can say it was the most horrible, guttural/gurgling sound you will ever hear. Whatever it was just kept spouting some kind of gibberish, I couldn't understand. It was all too real and I was wide awake. All I know is it left as soon as I said that phrase. I was praying for a deceased relative at the time it happened....never made that mistake again! Soon afterward I became a truly born-again Christian.

Terrifying. I had a strange experience with a Ouija board as a teen with my best friend. We were asking it questions, like, "Does such and such boy like me?" or "Who will I marry?" when the little stylus thingy went nuts and started zipping all over the board and then flew across the room. We burned the board and went to church that Sunday. I haven't touched one since. I think they are truly evil.

I've never had a dream about demons but have heard others say they have or that they've dreamed of hell. I think God has to speak to some of us more loudly than others or reach us in the way He knows will get our attention.

I have lived in a house that had "ghosts" which I now believe were demons. It was only when I rebuked them in the name of Jesus that they went away.

Scary stuff. I don't even want to think about it really.

Yes, I have had dreams which some unbelievers claim to be sleep paralysis, but to the rest of us they are very spiritual. Even after I became a Christian I had a series of these dreams and I believe that because I had been formally involved in a few occult practices the devil wanted me to give up on Jesus, like " See, where is your Jesus now?" Later I went through a deliverance, a process of binding and loosing the strongholds that the devil may have on our lives.

When someone gets into occultism, they get involved with demons, but it can be broken through Jesus Christ.
They are most probably not just dreams, but experiences with the spiritual world

I had some dreams, too, before I came to Christ. I was looking on the wrong places, that is the reason.

Yes I have been harrased many times by the things. Before I became a Christian, only a few months away from becoming one I saw a black spirit standing at the end of my bed. I was so frightend that I screamed so loud, I turned of the light and it had gone. One month later it did the dame thing. Three months later the same thing happened. I was it disapear after stearing at me for a long time. I did not scream that time. I have been hit in the face by them as well, I have been very abused by them. Satan is a loser. Jesus wins havds down, as he is gergous.

I have never had a dream like that. I also have never played with a Ouija board. I remember years ago someone told me of something similar happening to him. He was into that sort of thing, and he too became a Christian just like you.
Thank God you've been saved from that.

Ouija boards freak me out. I went to college in Gettysburg, PA and there are a lot of ghost stories there. Usually I don't pay too much attention to that sort of thing, but one night some friends of mine were messing around with a ouija board and it was totally crazy what happened. I don't wnat to go into the details, but one of my friends claimed that she had been visited in her dreams.

Dear Friend,

Imagine that you can send a picture message to another one's electronic gadgets, either it can be a a virus message or a geuine one, it depens weather the person whom get it is your friend or foe.
The same is true for dreams, first of all know that we are not alone, in an outer planet people like us watching all our activities and there we have friends and foes, they can send us messages meant for good and bad, depends up on their thoughts and acts, as well yours. It is all for your ratioal intelligence to take what is wrong or right. What is better, in these situation is neglect it and take your own intelligence concerning necessities of life warrats.
As there is enemies, there is protectors as well, so in any case do not get freightened nor start following religios vulgarities, it all the work of such devilish designers, whom want to get followers, trapping poeple to their ignorance and fear, as well creating oppurtunity to live on misutilizing the name of God and those died, like Christ, etc..
Since I have gone through all these kinds of things.

This hasn't happened to me. But, the Bible tells there are such things as you describe. The Bible, in effect, tells us not to mess with them Think of the reality of Satan. Jesus Himself was tempted. I'm sure many others have had similar experiences as you did. What you describe was in your past. Rely on God and leave that dream just where it is---in the past. Consider it gone. You (via Jesus/the Holy Spirit) have overcome it. It's gone, it's dead, it's in the past. End of it's story and power concerning you. God Bless...

Seeking: The term, "Night Mare" comes from the Latin for "Screaming Demon" . Yes; every human has had a night mare or twelve sometime, within the span of his or her life.
