The Christians posting on here are missing the point. She doesn't want to pray to your god, she wants to pray to HERS.

As a pagan (like you!), I can say only that most gods won't really care HOW you pray, just pray. Light a green candle (in my religion, it's the color of fertility) to help you to concentrate, and ask Her to intercede and help you to get pregnant. If you feel the urge, make a burnt offering to Her of a green leafy herb like parsley, and some grain. The best thing you can do to help your fertility, though, is to relax. Most women who are deperate to get pregnant only manage to concieve when they give up trying. Stress changes your body chemistry and can actually cause your body to reject sperm or kill it. Learn how to enjoy your life again, and ask your gods to give you peace in your heart. That will go a long way.

Prayer To Conceive A Baby

I don't think you'll get a baby by praying to a Hindu god. You might however get a cow. Mmmmm....steak.

Seriously though, I would pray to the creator of souls, the one true God. Other than that, try to make love every other day with hubby. I had a really hard time getting pregnant with my first baby (took us more than two years and fertility docs couldn't find anything wrong). Relaxing, praying (to the God of Abraham) and every other day got the trick done. Now we have two beautiful children.

Hindu God Of Fertility

Trash that idea honey, it's a lot of garbage. Learn what makes your body "tick", how your reproductive system works, and see a doctor to be sure everything is alright. Have hubby checked to be sure that his sperm count is high enough as well. The idea that it is always the woman's fault if pregnancy doesn't happen is archaic, and very untrue. If he doesn't produce enough sperm, then the chances of becoming pregnant are reduced. Go see the doctors, and ask for their help, and leave the deity made of natural materials, and the imagination of man where it belongs, on the burn pile with the rest of the foolishness of man. If you want to ask someone for a baby, ask God, Jehovah Elohim, who is the only true God, who sent His so Jesus to make the way by His sacrifice on a cross, for the created creatures that we are to be able to come to Him to be saved from the wrath against all evil that is to come. Hindu is a religion of works, it only leads to hardship and wanting. God offers peace and love that are currently free for the having, just believe and confess it, that Jesus is the savior of mankind. God can help you get the child you want, in part because He gave man the ability to learn. A Hindu god can't help you.

Having intercourse with the opposite sex during ovulation is the only way to conceive without medical intervention. You ovulate roughly two weeks after you start your menstrual bleeding each month and an over the counter ovulation test can help you determine an exact time. Who advised you to pray to a hindu god? Are you Hindu? Sorry if I find that rather silly.

Friend, Of course, God has powers over the laws of Karma (deeds), because these laws have been framed and implemented by God Himself. Your second question is "Can prayers fix Karma?" Prayers cannot fix Karma, but reduce their effect to a small extent. Also, the prayers should be genuine. It means that they should be accompanied with the feeling of utmost devotion and surrender to God. In extreme incidents in which the prayers are long and rigorous, God does override the laws of Karma. For example, long ago, people used to hold prayers to God for very long durations like 51 days, 101 days, 251 days, 501 days, or even more, to be liberated from the effect of their bad deeds (Dushkarma). Pleased by their severe austerities, God would reveal Himself before them to explicitly tell them that they had been liberated from the effect of their past deeds.

No ... You do not need to pray to ANY Gods or dieties... Just seek a professional's doctor's help... we are living in the year 2007 and there is enough technology and knowledge available for you to use.

See a fertility specialist, usually a doctor can help you more than a god.

Also, Jan and Tribble Maccer. What makes you believe that your god is better than his? That's rude, get some tolerance and stop shoving your religion down people's throats.
