I have not heard of this, but heres' what I would recommend - Practice, practice and more practice.
There is no replacement for a real world situation. You can only overcome fears of driving by driving more. Give it time and you will come to a tipping point where the scales are in your favour.
Choose a small car preferably with power steering and you are all set. Get up at 6AM and stop thinking about how to drive - just drive. Floor the pedal on an open road and go.
