Since vodka usually has an alcohol content ranging from 35% to 50% by volume...any drink containing vodka is definitely alcoholic.

No. Vodka has alcohol in it. Vodka is typically about 80 proof, or 40% alcohol.
To put that into context a beer varies but is typically less than 8 percent alcohol.
