i've been in prison for the past 5 years and while i was gone my girlfriend found somebody new.. she was pregnate with my little girl when i left,and she hung with me for the first couple of year...now shes with one of her ex's and i want her back... she says that she doesn't want him but shes not sure what she wants...should i just give up???

her response saying she doesn't know what she wants can go one of two ways. either she doesn't want to hurt your feelings and say no way don't want to get back with you or she is truly torn and you've got a chance. either way what have you got to lose, i say go for it and reinact one of the best romantic moments you had together in the past. attention to the small things make a difference. she'll be impressed that you remember what she wore or the perfume she had on or even what she said.

i agree with betty.
your daughter should be your number 1 priority. 5 years is a long enough time for your ex to realize her daughter needs someone there - her needs will be the same, someone to care for her daughter. if you can provide this better than this "other man", then you will win her back.

no don't give up, i think you should tell her how your feeling and well not only tell her but show her. maybe a romantic dinner and flowers meanwhile you tell her how you feel would work best. good luck and if you truly love her still and want a chance don't let it go, give it all you can, it could be fate that wants you together too and God Bless, believe in love and don't give up so easily, love takes hard work, its never easy.

i agree....i wouldn't care what she thinks of you..you need to make a relationship with your daughter..then maybe mom will see how serious you are. but either way...your daughter needs you
