that to track prints they use a simple aluminum dusting powder, now all i need is the proper brush. anyone know how to make aluminum powder with your everyday items?
or do i have to buy it.

Uh, crush up aluminum foil? Hehhehe, just kidding! You might have to buy it at place that sells private investigator/police stuff, but i don't know where any of those stores are. Maybe somewhere that sells chemistry or sciencs supplies, but then again, I don't know of any places offhand.

It's much easier to buy some aluminium powder as its quite complicated to make and you need specialised equipment.

For an applicator brush, just use a make-up brush - like a blush brush. That should work well enough for you.

Remember to wear a dust mask when using it as inhaling an excess of the powder can be harmful.

Buying it is going to be easier. Check with your local hardware stores, art supply stores and camera shops to see if they have any idea where to get some. Otherwise check your phonebook under "Chemicals."

You forgot the computer data base for cross checking the prints . . . or were you just collecting for souvenirs ?
