I am a guy and I think my best hairstyle happens when my hair is just out of the shower and has dried slightly, for about five to ten minutes. My fuzzpuff is dirty blonde mostly brown. My bangs go down to about a half-inch above my eyebrows and the rest of my hair is uniformily short. Nothing goofy, just a normal head of hair.
Currently I style my hair with liquid gel but the problem is that I have to rewet my hair after I get out of the shower for the gel to get to all of my hair. By wetting I then have to comb it straight and go with a messy look from there, usually I overdo things and end up with a stupid little wave look that I really hate. Any suggestions would be great.

I have done my hair a thousand different ways and I know what I'm talking about so listen to me. When you get out of the shower, wait a few minutes, only a few for your hair to be less than soaking, or simply shake off excess water. Then you want to put the gel in right away. Put it in your hands and work it all over like you're washing them, then run it all through your hair. You'll want to use a generous amount and don't mat it down while you put it in, just kind tousle it around. Then you should be able to simple toss your head about a little, kinda shake your hair around and it will fall naturally into place if you've got the right mixture of gel and water. May take a few times to perfect but its the ONLY WAY.

Put the gel, mouse, or hairspray on after the showerwhile it is wet rub it in good so it gets all of your hair if you can...and don't comb it...just mess it up...then it won't wave but it'll have a different look. I think some people put way to much time into things trying to get that great look...that it looks worse than it did before they started. Have fun with it.

Go with I.C.E spiker hair glue.
Stays in place ALL day and will look exactly the same.
Comes in a blue tube and about 12-13 buks a tube. Will last a few months.

at your local stores/hair salons there is a product that i cant remember the brand of, thats called something like "Wet" or "wet look". it's a gel like serum that makes your hair look wet all day long.
The upside: wet looking hair looks HOT.
the downside: it makes your hair feel slimy/greasy. i can't stand having slimy feeling hair so i don't use it any more.

that's a problem with 30 % of people of world so u can cut ur hair or wrap it around a hot wet towel every time after shower it'll solve it

use a different kind of hair product look at products by bedhead or something

Carry a hose and towel with you everywhere, that should do the trick.
